Jan 22nd: Snowshoeing and Plate Tectonics

from 8.50

Plate tectonics have been shaping the Earth for over 3 billion years – and they’re still moving today! Dive into the history of rocks with Stokes Educators to discover how plates, faults and folds created the valleys and mountains we see here today. Finally, strap on some snowshoes and join us on a trek through Logan Canyon to find evidence of these changes.

Snowshoes will be provided! Please dress in warm layers (gloves, hat, snow pants, boots, etc.)

Where: Spring Hollow Campground Parking Lot

When: 1 pm to 3 pm
