Join Stokes Nature Center botanist educator, Sasha Broadstone for a gentle wildflower hike along the Tony Grove Lake Nature Trail. Walk through alpine meadows filled with wildflowers, birds, and butterflies...just don't forget your camera! Scenic views and fresh mountain air, what better way to spend a Saturday?

Date: Saturday, July 1st

Time: 9 am to 1 pm
Meet at 9 am to carpool up to Tony Grove Lake. Look for the white SNC van, can hold up to 13 passengers. Parking is limited at Tony Grove and there is a fee so carpooling is encouraged!

Location: Meet at First Dam/Canyon Entrance Park
1647-1700 Canyon Rd, Logan, UT 84321
We will be carpooling up to Tony Grove Lake. 

What to Bring: Dress for the weather, and bring layers (the weather in Logan Canyon is unpredictable!). Pack a water bottle and lunch. Wear comfortable clothes, and walking shoes.

Trail Length: 1.3 mile loop
Difficulty: Easy. Suitable for all ages and skill levels
Trailhead: 19.3 miles to the Tony Grove turnoff; go left and take paved road 6.7 miles to lake (there is a fee for parking!)
Elevation Start/Gain: 8000 feet/200 feet
