We get people outside and falling in love with nature through a variety of programs. Kids make friends and lasting memories at our Summer Camps, School Outreach & field trips, and Nature Preschool. Adults have fun learning new skills in our seasonal workshops and Outdoor Field Trips & Retreats. COMMON GROUND OUTDOOR ADVENTURES

“It’s hard for those who mostly understand “typically developing” children. But for those of us with children of special needs, Common Ground brings us such happiness!”
— Mom of Strider Bike Camp program participant

The organization’s vision is to enhance the lives of people with disabilities through quality outdoor recreation. This is achieved by removing the physical, social and financial barriers faced by youths and adults with disabilities. Activities include adaptive snowsports, cycling, whitewater rafting, rock climbing, exciting destination trips such as dogsledding and camping in spectacular locations across the west.
