Research and Strategic Planning Internship
The Research and Strategic Planning Intern will contribute towards SNC’s future growth by supporting the strategic planning process throughout the fall. They will conduct market and community research, help develop, conduct and compile data from interviews with strategic partners, and contribute toward the writing of the final plan. This internship provides an introduction to the leadership and development of non-profits. Our ideal candidate will be interested in researching and data collection. The Research and Strategic Planning Intern needs to be an organized, collaborative, independent worker who is excited about SNC’s mission and growth as well as able to communicate clearly and effectively in person and in writing.
Job Type: Internship; 10-20 hrs a week
Note: This is an unpaid internship.
Assist with organizing, delivering, and synthesizing information from surveys and interviews with invested partners.
Conduct market research of the community including future trends and growth potential.
Assist with writing of the final plan.
The ideal candidate for this position is organized, timely, and has experience or interest in research and interviewing.
Strong time-management and organizational skills
Quick learner with the ability to self-motivate
Research and data collection experience
Strong computer skills, including experience with Google Suite
Professional development opportunities
Potential to receive university credit
