NATURE makes Great Birthday Memories…

Stokes Nature Center offers a unique venue to host your child’s birthday celebration!

Our birthday package includes a 2-hour rental of Stokes Nature Center, (refer to our rental page to view pictures of the building interior), supplies for you to lead your choice of two nature-based activities for up to 20 children, and a Logan Canyon Children’s Forest swag bag for the birthday child.

SNC does not provide decorations, cake, or ice cream but you are welcome to bring your own!  Decorations can be provided for an extra fee. LCD projector is available for no additional charge.

Note: Renter is responsible for leading all activities; SNC staff members will not remain on site during the party. All trash must be taken out by the renter. A cleaning fee will be added if the building is not left in its original condition.

  • Bioblitz Scavenger Hunt- includes the use of 6 binoculars

  • Seed bombs - ages 5-12

  • Nature Masks - ages 3-12

  • Snowflake Activity - ages 3-12. Salt painting snowflakes; includes the use of 12 magnifying lenses and black paper to observe real snowflakes. 

  • Animal Tracks Mystery - ages 8-12

  • Seasonal Book and Nature Craft - ages 3-6

    • Spring-  Mama Built a Little Nest- By Jennifer Ward and Bird Nest Craft 

    • Summer- Over and Under the Pond By Kate Messner and Egg Carton Turtles

    • Autumn-  Leafman by Lois Ehlert and Leaf Collages

    • Winter- Over and Under the Snow by Kate Messner and Hibernation dens
