The Science Writers Group is focused on improving scientific writing, specifically focused on production of research reports, manuscripts for submission to peer review journals, and grant proposals. 

Sessions will involve a two and a half-hour period of focused writing, followed by a half hour of editing and constructive critique by other group members.  Members are welcome to bring material they have been working on, but the focus is to generate new writing on site and to make progress on tasks that are not yet finished. 

Participants should bring a laptop, flash drive, and any material they need for writing, because Internet and cell phone service are limited.
