  • Meeting Location 69-77 W 100 N Logan, UT, 84321 United States (map)

Join a verified SNC “Bird Nerd” for a lovely bird watching expedition to the Bear River Bottoms. This site features excellent bird habitat: marshes, floodplains, and fields along the beautiful Bear River. We will teach you the necessary skills to be a top-notch birder, and we’ll bring along our collection of binoculars and bird books! Be on the lookout for sandhill cranes, herons, pelicans, ducks, geese, and all manner of song birds.

Located just outside of Trenton, Utah, the Bear River Bottoms site represents a Conservation Partnership between the Pacificorp (the landowner), and the Bear River Land Conservancy. Bear River Land Conservancy maintains these lands as a space for public recreation, natural habitat, and educational programs.
