Join Stokes Nature Center and the Logan River Task Force at Rendezvous Park in Logan to learn about the importance of healthy river ecosystems. We will discuss how current restoration projects on the Logan River will enhance habitats for birds, fish, and other wildlife as well as help alleviate problems for human habitats like seasonal flooding and sediment deposition. Get a first hand look at science in action! Make sure to dress for the weather, bring a water bottle, and wear shoes that can get dirty. Binoculars will be provided for some morning wildlife viewing.
