Job description

The One Utah Service Fellowship (OUSF) is a state AmeriCorps program for high school graduates, college students, and emerging professionals who want to create meaningful change across Utah while gaining real-world experience.

This immersive program places fellows with community-based organizations, nonprofits, and public agencies working on Utah’s most pressing needs—from education and mental health to public health, environmental stewardship, and social services. If you’re passionate about service, leadership, and impact, this is for you.

Stokes Nature Center is Cache Valley’s local nonprofit nature center providing nature education and promoting outdoor exploration of our natural world to people of all ages.

Position Details:

  • Application Deadline: 09/01/2026

  • Service Term: 22.5 hours per week for 10 months

  • Expected Term of Service Dates: Early September - Early January

  • Minimum of 900 hours

  • Located in Cache Valley, UT

Member Benefits:

  1. Living Allowance Stipend twice monthly of $473.68, total of $9,000

  2. Education Award of $3,697, upon successful program completion which can be used for education costs up to cost of attendance or for eligible student loan repayment

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Be 17 years of age or older

  • Have a high school diploma or GED

  • Pass State & Federal background check

  • Be a U.S. Citizen, National, or Legal Permanent Resident
