SCHOOL PROGRAMS

Explore the natural world with your students at the Nature Center and other locations in the National Forest with our SEEd aligned programs!

Looking for an affordable, engaging, and all-local approach to science for your students?

Stokes programs for grades K-6 are aligned to SEEd standards as well as ELA, Mathematics, Social Studies, and PE standards.

Our programs focus on our local environment and give students the opportunity to acquire new skills and knowledge that will help them continue their learning. We recognize research continues to show that time spent in nature contributes to positive physical and mental health outcomes. Our nature-based, student-centered programs provide students opportunities to develop Social Emotional Learning (SEL) skills in all five CASEL core competencies.

We work hand-in-hand with your school to develop the programming you need and provide experiences only possible through Cache Valley’s oldest and most trusted Nature Center.

Stokes Nature Center has fun, hands-on experiments and instructors do a great job of teaching the children on a level that they can understand... My goal is to have them present in my classroom every year.”

We had a great time, and I loved how we stopped on the trail to discuss things around us. That was cool!
